Museum of Local History Strausberg
The Museum of Local History illustrates the history of the city of Strausberg from its beginnings to the present. Historical testimonials from clothmakers and shoemakers, traders, associations the life of the city's population are the focus of the permanent exhibition. The collection includes 106 silver coins from the period between 1599 and 1647. They were discovered by accident by the monument conservator Rolf Barthel in 1985.
