City Museum Ketzin

Not far from the fishermen's quarter with its crooked alleys, the historical significance of the city as a place for fishermen is on display. The museum of the city is in the cultural and tourist center. Otto Zesch founded the home collections in 1911. He was mayor of the city of Ketzin from 1889 to 1923. After almost a century, the local museum returned to its former location on 18 May 2003. Today, visitors can look forward to a permanent exhibition to gain insights into the history of the city of Ketzin, find out interesting facts about prehistory and early history, the development of railways, shipping, brickyards and the fishing industry. Regular special exhibitions are also quite popular.
