The Toy Museum in Havelland is part of the private manor house ensemble Kleßen which also includes the castle, the manor garden with orangery, stables and the old village school. This collection is complemented by the English Park Kleßen which is located on the way from the castle to the lake. Seven rooms of the old village school present outstanding examples of the German toy industry. One highlight of the exhibition is the fully functional railway construction in old original Märklin technology which visitors are invited to operate. The toy shop (museum shop) offers traditional toys and children's books as well as educationally valuable children's toys for purchase.
