Kalebuz crypt Neustadt (Dosse)

“Had I been ever a murderer, may and shall God, then, let my corpse never decay.” According to the legend, this sworn statement of the knight Kalebuz in court is believed to have led to mummification of his corpse. Today, visitors can gaze in wonder at the remains of the knight in the crypt of Kalebuz. Moreover, many a rambling legend is told about the knight here but their veracity is always questioned.
